downtown Pittsburgh, near Monroeville, PA. Pittsburgh Martial Arts
& Boxing Academy offers top-quality self-defense training,
boxing classes, full contact kickboxing and muay Thai training for
men, women and children in Pittsburgh.
Everyone is
given an opportunity to become his/her best. Whether you'd
like to fight in the ring as a boxer or kickboxer, learn
self-defense, train for fitness or even just for the fun of it,
you will feel welcome in our hardcore but friendly and supportive environment.
Our
SELF-DEFENSE
CLASSES are a mixture of American Kickboxing, Boxing,
Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, Kali / Eskrima / Arnis, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This
MMA approach keeps realistic, street-applicable self-defense as
it's primary focus. This is NOT a cage fighting class.

Our
BOXING
CLASSES focus on Olympic-Style Boxing training for
competition, for fitness or just for the fun of it. Western Boxing
has the best footwork, defense and punches of all martial arts.
Come join us to learn the "Sweet Science".
The
KICKBOXING
CLASSES at Pittsburgh Martial Arts & Boxing Academy
is a mix of western boxing, American kickboxing, muay
Thai, and
San Shou / San Da. For anyone wanting to compete who is accepted
as one of our fighters (this is NOT a given), you will be able
to choose from the four most popular rule styles of kickboxing -
Full Contact / American Kickboxing, muay Thai / Thai Boxing,
International Rules Kickboxing or San Da / San Shou.
This
class is also the best stand up training available for MMA
competition. Pure muay Thai has great kicks, knees and elbows but
lacks good footwork, proper punching and punch defense. Western boxing
has great punches and footwork but no kicks. Our mixed
approach fills the gaps of each style and creates great fighters.
